PTFE Filament Packing (Model KXT P103) is braided from sintered, high-stretched PTFE multifilament yarns, then impregnated with PTFE dispersion in a second pass. The result is a packing with a tighter internal structure, higher cross-sectional density and greater structural strength than traditional PTFE packings. With a full pH 0–14 chemical range, PTFE Filament Packing handles aggressive media that would destroy other packings, while the low-friction PTFE surface reduces shaft wear and heat build-up. PTFE Filament Packing is best suited to slower shaft speeds, valve stems and difficult sealing applications in chemical, pharma, food and steam service.
