A Compressed Asbestos Gasket Sheet Engineered for Oil, Fuel and Solvent Service
Kaxite Oil-Resistant Asbestos Rubber Sheet is a compressed gasket sheet built from long-fibre asbestos and oil-resistant synthetic rubber, compounded and moulded under heat and pressure into a dense, uniform sheet. Because the binder is chosen for oil resistance rather than general-purpose service, the sheet resists swelling and weight gain when exposed to kerosene, fuel oil, petroleum-based lubricating oil and most petrochemical media. It is supplied in five strength grades — KNY510, KNY400, KNY300, KNY250 and KNY150 — so the sheet can be matched precisely to each sealing duty, and it is tested to GB/T539-2008.

Why Buyers Specify Oil-Resistant Asbestos Rubber Sheet
The binder is an oil-resistant synthetic rubber, so the sheet resists swelling and weight gain when exposed to kerosene, fuel oil, lubricating oil and petroleum-based media. Weight gain after 5 h in IRM903 aviation lubricating oil at 149°C is kept to 30% or less, depending on grade.
Tensile strength spans 9.0 MPa to 18.0 MPa across KNY510, KNY400, KNY300, KNY250 and KNY150. Buyers can order several grades together so the same gasket sheet specification covers heavy flanges, engine joints and low-load covers.
Compressibility of 7–17%, rebound rate of 35–50% and a creep relaxation rate of 45% or below mean the sheet keeps its sealing force under long-term bolt load, reducing the risk of joint weeping in hot oil lines.
Nitrogen leakage is kept to 300 ml/(h·mm) or below, tested to GB/T539-2008. This makes the sheet suitable where a tight gasket line is specified for fuel and lubricating oil equipment.
Supplied as 1500 × 1360 mm, 1270 × 1270 mm and 1500 × 1500 mm sheets in 0.5–6.0 mm thickness. Kaxite can also punch or cut the sheet to drawing for buyers who need finished gaskets delivered instead of raw sheet.

Working pressure is 1.5 MPa and maximum working temperature is 150°C. The sheet is tested to GB/T539-2008 and remains stable under long-term bolt load, with a creep relaxation rate of 45% or below.
After 5 hours in IRM903 aviation lubricating oil at 149°C, the weight increase is 30% or less and no surface bubbling occurs. After 5 hours in ASTM B fuel oil at 21–30°C, the weight increase is 0–20%. This is the reason the sheet is specified for oil pipeline and engine gasket use.
