The forming process of fiberglass tube is to cure the fiberglass which is impregnated resin in a photovoltaic heat integrated high-speed polymerization device, and then pull or draw into a molding. Because of the different types of resins used, it is known as polyester fiberglass, epoxy fiberglass, and phenolic fiberglass.It has many characteristics and its main features are as follows:

 


1.Good corrosion resistance. Fiberglass tube can effectively resist the corrosion of acid, alkali, salt and other media and untreated domestic sewage, corrosive soil, chemical wastewater and many chemical liquids. Under normal circumstances, it can maintain long-term safe operation.

2.Good aging resistance and heat resistance. Glass fiber tube can be used in the temperature range of -40°C~70°C for a long period of time. The special high temperature resistant resin can also work normally at temperatures above 200°C.

3. good frost resistance. Below -20°C, freezing cracks do not occur in the tubes.

4. light weight, high strength. The relative density is between 1.5 and 2.0, only 1/4 to 1/5 of carbon steel, but the tensile strength is close to or even exceeds that of carbon steel, and the specific strength can be compared with that of high-grade alloy steel. Therefore, it has excellent results in aviation, rockets, spacecraft, high-pressure vessels, and other applications that need to reduce its own weight.

6. good wear resistance. Contain a large amount of mud, sand and water, into the pipe for rotational wear and impact comparison test. After 3 million rotations, the depth of wear on the inner wall of the test tube is as follows: 0.53 mm for tar and enamel-coated steel tubes, 0.52 mm for epoxy- and tar-coated steel tubes, and glass-steel tubes for surface-hardened steel tubes. It is 0.21mm. This makes FRP wear resistant.
7.good thermal insulation. FRP is non-conductor, and its electrical insulation is excellent. The insulation resistance is between 1012-1015Ω.cm. It is most suitable for use in transmission. The heat transfer coefficient of glass fiber reinforced plastic area and multi-dose mine area is very small, only 0.23. In five points, the pipeline has excellent insulation properties.

8.small friction resistance, high transmission capacity. The inner wall of the glass pipe is very smooth, and the roughness and frictional resistance are very small. The coefficient of roughness was 0.0084, while the concrete pipe had an n value of 0.014 and a cast iron pipe of 0.013.
